Greenhouse Renovation Project

Nara, our trainer, showing what can be produced in a greenhouse in severe weather conditions.

Our greenhouse is a core part of our vegetable training project; getting an early start with planting of seeds makes a big difference in the short growing season.

A full-time trainer runs the project, providing courses and skills to enable families to grow and harvest vegetables, become self-sufficient and even to develop small businesses supplying vegetables to the city. 

Severe winter conditions take a heavy toll on the fabric of the building. It is in urgent need of repairs.
